One of my favorite things to buy locally is potatoes, there are all sorts of varieties I had never tried before, like fingerlings.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14532890894030753470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2364183667091630765.post-47331811870375661542011-05-12T12:35:16.452-05:002011-05-12T12:35:16.452-05:00I love local asparagus, and right now we have fres...I love local asparagus, and right now we have fresh fiddleheads... those are good.

I've tried that cabbage and seitan recipe before, but I found it a bit boring to eat. But I did find some absolutely luscious, red-all-the-way-through strawberries the other day at my local natural food store that were mindblowingly delicious. I went back, got another pound, and roasted them to make a sauce for "Coconut Bliss" ice cream (mmmm!).Alan Roettingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08271534270560830364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2364183667091630765.post-842288565428660842011-05-11T22:57:05.515-05:002011-05-11T22:57:05.515-05:00It depends on the season!
