I look forward to hearing more abot how you embrace the changes! For me, I like a lot of cooked foods throughout the day, and I see you're able to make that happen. I really like your strategy of eating leftovers to keep costs lower.jaredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12412026313234271892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2364183667091630765.post-24155424470081749082012-01-04T16:06:13.061-06:002012-01-04T16:06:13.061-06:00Love how your picture on the side has you eating a...Love how your picture on the side has you eating a donut.

I agree juicing is really expensive, I find smoothies much more manageable. Did a green juice this morning and have a smoothie coming up -- I did have green tea (usually a coffee drinker) and some hot cacao. And that was all before 10!! Us Southern vegans have to stick together. :-) As for my juicer, I use a Jack Lalanne.

Rick, not so sure I'll always avoid nuts in the evening, but I'll try. I'm doing good just to accomplish what I am. I ate that celery with nut butter around 4:30, but I don't go to bed until almost 1 a.m. The "peanut" noodles are actually nut-free.Biancahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11545245728462853370noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2364183667091630765.post-71872461951218739112012-01-04T07:57:36.155-06:002012-01-04T07:57:36.155-06:00you may want to make a change and not eat anything...you may want to make a change and not eat anything with nuts in the evening, especially while doing a cleanse. nuts and nut butters are taxing on the digestive system and therefore eating them at night will cause energy to be lost in digestion that could be used for cleansing and rebuilding cells. good luck Bianca!

RickThe Health Senseihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13296840039948289864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2364183667091630765.post-33083100235817749892012-01-04T07:29:02.741-06:002012-01-04T07:29:02.741-06:00Definitely trying that Buddha Bowl.. With that said, I just bought the book! A few weeks ago I did a 2 week vegan cleanse (I have been vegan for a year now, but found myself in vegan junk food hell). In addition to normal vegan diet I cut out caffeine, gluten and ::drumroll: SOY. Honestly, it wasn't hard. It just forced me to eat mostly fruit and vegetables. I started to feel good again, but once the 2 weeks was over I started falling back into my comfort foods. I am hoping this 21-day cleanse will stick with me longer. Routing for you, Bianca! Wish me luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2364183667091630765.post-83185053088542224412012-01-04T00:52:55.266-06:002012-01-04T00:52:55.266-06:00Your Buddha Bowl looks delicious :)I'm doing t...Your Buddha Bowl looks delicious :)I'm doing the 21 Day Vegan Kickstart once again, that I can manage :), wasn't quite together to do the CSD cleanse, but living vicariously through your posts :)Jacintahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05696307584735803123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2364183667091630765.post-20550785077710748122012-01-04T00:15:46.562-06:002012-01-04T00:15:46.562-06:00Hey, I'm planning on starting this on Wednesda...Hey, I'm planning on starting this on Wednesday (today's the last day of my vacation). The two things that hit me were that the recipes were all for many people (I'm cooking for one), and the juicing--I don't have a juicer.

You seem to have covered both those--I need something bigger in the mornings (I think, I'll give a juice bar a try tomorrow), so veggie smoothies should work and I've seen some recipes I can cut back, others will just be repeated.

I look forward to hearing how things go for you!PaganAngelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11627178427919292960noreply@blogger.com
