Two that come to mind are Wolfie's Fiesta Pasta Salad from La Dolce Vegan (best mayo-based dressing EVER), and the Gooey Grilled Cheez from Uncheese Cookbook, which I'll use any time I need a quick cheesy sauce.Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14532890894030753470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2364183667091630765.post-7086729178510754082012-06-10T14:20:33.291-05:002012-06-10T14:20:33.291-05:00This sounds so interesting, but good! It sounds interesting... and I wouldn't mind eating ketchup for breakfast, especially if it gets me to eat brown rice. BTW, the co-author's name is Tanya, not Tonya.

I rarely do the same thing twice, unless I don't feel like looking for a new recipe. When I'm short on time, I also often make the same simple things like tofu steaks (tofu sauteed with soy sauce and nooch), spaghetti and of course home made salads. Also, for some ingredients that are rather uncommon, I often make the same recipe. For instance, I almost only buy asparagus when they are in season, and I often rely on the same recipes that I know are winners, like the Veganomicon asparagus quiche and Clean Food's cream of asparagus.Babettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07019175654217050763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2364183667091630765.post-57133994974526911772012-06-03T14:15:17.382-05:002012-06-03T14:15:17.382-05:00Sounds like my idea of a good breakfast. I think my head would explode if I didn't have a handful of recipes I could fall back on at any time--especially, say, when you get home at 9 pm and haven't eaten anything since one. It drives me nuts that I eat the same things all the time, especially because I have so many cookbooks I've never even cooked out of! I think that if I had more time I'd be more likely to try more recipes. I plan on changing it up now that I have a dehydrator though!

This breakfast looks great though, I should totally try it on gluten free toast!xvavaveganxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06631140173063582288noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2364183667091630765.post-55275697398627005452012-05-30T01:56:23.265-05:002012-05-30T01:56:23.265-05:00I'm the same as you - I have a few staples but...I'm the same as you - I have a few staples but love trying new recipes.
